Boys and Girls Club of Peel is a charitable non-profit organization that provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

During the Holiday Season, the Boys and Girls Club of Peel provides Holiday support to families in need with the assistance of corporate and community sponsorship.

The Holiday Hamper program provides support in the form of toys, clothes and food.

2020 and COVID19 has brought some new challenges.

The need for GIFT CARDS for families food security and towards purchasing gifts for their children and youth has never been greater.

In order to request a hamper, a family must be a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Peel or be referred through a current partner organization.  Additional eligibility requirements include families on income assistance, EI benefits or struggling on a low income.

Through our sponsorships and partners in past years we have been very lucky to connect with like-minded organization that feel and see the value in helping the children, youth and families in their own communities and across our Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon (Region of Peel).

Every year it is our goal to help as many families as we can. In 2019 we helped feed and provide gifts to over 112 families, bring some joy, if even only for one day. Every child, youth a family deserves this.

Every year the needs for our children and youth remain the same, many asking for gifts for mom and dad too. What we do find is that our 13 – 17+ year olds do not always get something.  In 2020 let’s change that together.

Here are some suggested gift items are as follows:

From our friends and partners with the United Way Greater Toronto, its Campaign Time!

Friends of United Way,

Our 2018 community-wide campaign—our first as United Way Greater Toronto—is officially underway!

Earlier today, Brian Porter, President and CEO of Scotiabank, and United Way’s 2018 Campaign Chair, and I had the pleasure of announcing this year’s fundraising goal.

At the same time, hundreds of volunteers like you were showing their #LocalLove in the community, supporting agencies throughout the region. Visit Twitter for all the happenings.

(Our sincere thanks to Scotiabank and Bell Media for their support of today’s Campaign Launch event and community activations.)
