FAMILY HOLIDAY HAMPER SPONSORS REQUIRED ASAP

It is that time of year again, Holiday Hamper Season. BGC Peel is a charitable nonprofit organization that provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life. This is the time of year we work together so that all can experience joy and happiness this holiday season.

During the Holiday Season, BGC Peel provides holiday support to families in need with the assistance of corporate and community sponsorship. Traditionally, the Holiday Hamper Program has provided support in the form of toys, clothes, and food.

To request a hamper, a family must be a member of BGC Peel, current year, and have a child active in a program. Additional eligibility requirements include families on income assistance, EI benefits or struggling on a low income. Through our sponsorships and partners in past years, we have been lucky to connect with like-minded organizations that feel and see the value in helping the children, youth, and families in their own communities and across our Region of Peel.

Every year, our goal is to help as many families as we can. Over the years, on average, we helped feed and provide gifts to over 110 families, bringing some joy, even if only for one day. Every child, youth, a family deserves this.
